Explain why you would like to have one of the characters as a friend.

I would like to have batman as a friend because he is one of the coolest superheroes in the whole universe. I would also like to have batman as a friend because he could teach me to be like him and  he could let me explore the whole of the bat cave. Also he is a millionaire so if I need help with money he can lend me some. If I ever get attacked by a group of ninjas or some hysteric clown I know who to call for help.

This song is actually from the movie Hunger Games. It relates to the novel because this song really explains what Katniss Everdeen feels about the horrible community she is living in. This also shows  that she is rebellious against The Capital and that she is ready to try her hardest to turn them over. The song talks about this tree that was used to hang people. The song also explains how horrible this is.

Write a letter to a character in your book

Dear Harry Potter,

my name is Curtis Lonoja and this is my first year in Hogwarts. I am also in Gryffindor! I am sending you this letter to ask for some advice as I already said this is my first year and I am very stressed.

The first piece of advice I am asking for is, which teachers actually give homework, which ones are strict and maybe some personal information about them. I already heard about professor Snape so you do not need to tell me stuff about him. Apparently he is a horrible person and only students in Slytherin are liked by him.

If you do reply to me I want to thank you in advance because this information will be used effectively. One day I would like to become a legendary wizard like you.

What problems did the major character have and how did they solve them?

Harry Potter was stuck in the Muggles world. He lives with his mothers sister, the Dursleys. The Dursleys were very mean and did not treat Harry well. He hated them and really wanted to leave. Then one day he gets a letter from Hogwarts a wizarding school. Later on the story he finds out that his parents were one of the best wizards to live but were murdered by Voldemort. So as soon as possible leaves the Dursleys and goest to Hogwarts where he will meet his two best friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.
